Cube Boxes have dimensions where the length, width and depth are all equal in size. For example a box that has dimensions of 12 x 12 x 12 is considered a cube box. Shipping boxes are priced more economically when run in large volume runs. The wholesale and retail markup on boxes is calculated based on the number of boxes tied to a single run. The same amount of labor and setup is required regardless if you are setting your equipment up to run 50 boxes or 10,000 boxes. It’s always a good rule of thumb to remember the higher the quantity in a single run the lower the cost per box taking into account the overall total square footage of material. This is why stock boxes are priced more competitively than say custom boxes.
